christian stoian

Christian Stoian exhibits at Sarah’s Jazz Club from April 28th – May 13th. For inquiries, please call 97840374 or email Anna: art@sarahsjazzclub.com. The art exhibition can be viewed during the jazz club’s opening hours, Friday and Saturdays from 8pm to 12am. It is part of our aim to inspire through the arts and music.

Christian was born and grew up in Romania although he spent 7 years in the UK from the age of 11. He started painting and sculpting at 9 years old then graduated Graphic Design at Metsovio University, Athens, Greece before moving to Cyprus in 1995.

Using Acrylic paints his work has evolved over the years as he experiments in different styles and has taken part in both solo and group exhibitions. His style is whimsical, often symbolic, provoking the imagination.

Christian is also co-creator of ‘Art for Paws’, a new project that encourages artists to choose a piece of their work, sell it and give a percentage for animals in need in Cyprus. He is the graphic designer and partner for the magazine ‘Paws Up’ which helps fund a mini-home sanctuary for senior and disabled ‘Even More Special’ in Nicosia.
